Mathematics — first biennium · Lesson
In set operations, what matters is which elements satisfy the condition, not the order in which they are written.
In this lesson: Compute union, intersection and difference of finite sets while interpreting the symbols correctly.
How to proceed: Read the symbol before listing elements: ∪ takes those present in at least one set, ∩ only common elements, and \ takes elements of the first set that are not in the second.
You can already assume: Subsets and inclusion.
